30th June 2011 A day i shall remember for a long while.
Started at 4am as i got up to go and watch the sunrise on the beach.....

the day started with a very unexpected visit from my friend who lives down south and who was visiting with her brother in Skegness it was a defo Wow OMG moment. Then had a lovely lunch in the village with tony and went to the car terrace to watch the sea and Rain lol and i asked while there would it be possible to produce me a rainbow. picked blackberries from neighbours garden in the afternoon and while sat chat to my cyber friends i had anoth omg moment as a rainbow appeared. a truly Magical Birthday. Thank you universe for producing a magic day.

I have signed up to a six week stamping course with Kim and the last week we were learning all about perfect pearls so i have stamped a sunflower onto black card and then embossed useing enamel embosing powder then i have used blue perfect pearls to colour in petals i aim to then mount the black onto the blue card then onton a white card with another blue flowere mounted in the middle with a message or i may just do the message not sure yet.

Got woken today at 5.12 with a very noisey dawn chorus which seemed to go on forever decided as the sky was clear to go and capture the sunrise on the beach missed the actual moment coming out the sea by seconds but it was Magic.............................

30th June 2009

Had a great Birthday Geri & I went to Southsea for the day.

Did all the tourist things had Fish & Chips on the beach and watched the Hovercraft go to the Isle of Wight had a dabble on the slot Machines Had a Mr Whippy and then went and sat on the cliff top.

Finished the day by going on the pier and speaking to the men fishing there Then it happened!!!!

Was walking off the pier with Geri busy talking and went down the slope and there was a square cut out of the tarmac and i went my length face first but landed on my left shoulder and it came out of the socket i was in agony then out of nowwhere came two men off the pier we definately didnt see them on the pier two totaly different men One very smart man and one that i can only describe as looking rather like a tramp the tramp like one said to the other i had better take a look and he stooped down beside me put his hand on the top of my shoulder told me to move it back and forth and i could feel it slowly clicking back in to place he then slid his hand down my arm said it will be ok now stood up got his bag and went! me still sat on the ground well when i had recovered enough i stood up and remarkably i did not have not one mark to show of my horrendous fall not a scratch a bruise or nothing. And no sign of the man!

Monday 15th February

Spent yesterday with Tony as it was our 27th Anniversary had a quiet day and just went out for Lunch at Frankie and Bennys

Made a trip to the Doctors as have had problems lying on my Right side and he sent me off to Berkshire Hospital as he thinks I might have a fracture spent most of the morning in the Xray dept.

Last Friday My Friend Geri and myself paid a vist to the Gilglamesh in Camden for the fit and fabulous night at the babylon bar and met the lovely Ziggy again what a lovely Guy he is! Anyway we did it on the spur of the moment although we did get invited. What an experience that it turned out to be ther we are two 50 somethings traipsing around London at 10pm at night when we should have been thinking of going to bed LOL.

Got out at Camden station and there was a very big Police presence as we both looked at each other saying what are we doing! got to the gilglamesh and we had already decided we were only going to stay for one drink as we both had tight schedules to get our trains and Geris last train left at Midnight a bit like cinderella LOL anyway as it happens as we were still outside waiting to go in we were met by james Ziggys friend and as we were talking The man came out himself Kisses and Cuddles all round and he said he was just going on the balcony for a cigarette and to join him so we did had a few more kisses and cuddles and met his Hairdresser who is a friend of his He was a lovely guy to by this time we were begining to stick out like sore thumbs so after he tried to urge us to go in for a drink which we declined as we were pushed for time. we made our way

back to the station and got our relative trains back home good job we declined the drink as I arrived home at 12.45 dread to think what time we would have got home had we done so!! another lovely day with the lovely ZIGSTER!!! (swoons)

Camden is the up and coming place to see and be seen and I can throughly recomend the Gilglamesh having dined there now on two occasions.

Tony & I recently went to Swindon to see Swan Lake It was Fabulous and how the ballerinas manage to keep their shoes on is amazing I was transfixed by how they did them up as you could not she bows or anything AMAZING . It was the Russian State Ballet throughly recomend it to anyone.

If you have not been to see this you must I went to Windsor Theatre on Thursday with my Friend Geri and we had a great time we both were crying at the end and came out feeling very Drained.
Linda Nolan was the mother and she was brilliant.

We had a pizza in the Italian restaurant which was Huge. But the days go so quickly when we meet up.

Went into Woodley to meet the radio Berkshire Team Andrew peach was giving out peaches and attempting to juggle! Had a great time and had my picture taken with them all ,y favourites were Graham and Maggie both very nice people.

My Brother Came up from Cornwall and we had a lovely Lunch in the pub and then went to vist
my aunt in the Nursing Home.

I was also so excited as my Tickets came for me and Tony to go and see the Russian State Ballet perform Swan Lake but I have to wait until January!!!

Also Booked up to Go and see Blood Brothers at Windsor Theatre Cant Wait!!

Well Tony and myself have got a new baby!

No Its not what you think we are now the proud owners of a little Laptop Called Lappy she came to us yesterday she is 4 years old and weighs a ton!

Supposed to be Tonys new toy but I appear to have comandeered it much to Tonys chagrin!

Yesterday I also started my new masterpiece and have written 4 pages so far. ( Barbara Cartland eat your heart out)

MY BIRTHDAY

Tony took me up to Camden Town to the Gilglamesh Restaurant and we had a fabulous time looked around the stables market and it was like steping back in time very bohemian.

Had a taxi to and from Camden did it in style

i could get used to all this its a good job you only have one birthday a year!!

Camden is certainly the new place to Hang out and be seen!!

Bank Holiday 26/5/08

Went to soccer six at the Madjeski stadium in Reading to see Soccer six it was heaving it down with rain all day got snarled up in the same Traffic jam twice. Dont ask hit Reading at 11am finally got to Mad Stad at 1pm Didnt stay too long as we were frozen so went to the hotel complex and did a bit of star spotting saw John Madjeski with a Blonde woman.

25/4/08 Friday

My First day in months where I have the day to myself (Yippee) as Tony has taken himself off to Lords for the Day .
I made a couple of telephone calls to my friends then I thought I would put some washing on and my washing machine is in my Garage.
I took the step down into the garage clothes in my arms and trod on a plug my right foot twisted over and down I went I felt sick and couldnt move for 20 miutes bearing in mind Tony had only just gone. I have a huge Bruise on my left shoulder ond a bigger bruise on my right ankle. But we Plod on.

Friday 11/4/08

Had to go back to the Chiropodists today as I had to phone monday for an S.O.S appt as I could hardly walk I have been having treatment for a long time for an ingrowing toenail and it had become infected so I had to also go to the doctor and get some antibiotics.

I have to go on the 6th May to have the nail removed Ooch!!!

Sunday 30/3/2008
Woke up to a beautiful blue sky,and the birds were singing their little hearts out.
Took Tony out for a stroll to Woodley they had a table top sale on and if you could see the junk people were selling, I have put better in the bin but what was even more surpising was people were buying it!
Then we went for a stroll to the Garden centre and had a coffee and bacon roll.
Off we then went to the Bishopscentre and picked up a few crafty bits for myself.On the way back we called into Maidenhead for a mooch and bumped into one of my pals Valerie and her Hubby.
After being out some 4 hours we had to call in for a sunday pint as you do and we found a lovely new Bar/Restaurant called Novellos on the bath Road and we will certainly be going back!

Another damp and dreary day.
After a horrendous night with Tony who is recovering from a hip replacment and a chat to the doctor we decided to take ourselves off to TGI fridays for a meal. Must be getting old as the meal was fine but the music was blaring out it didnt help that the speaker was right by us. We then headed off to the Oracle to do a bit of retail therapy and got 3 CDS costing £52!!!!! A very expensive day out and I think he overdid the walking again so I hope that I have a better night
